To make the process as convenient as possible for our customers, we offer three options for obtaining a free estimate. You can schedule an in-person consultation at your Carmichael home or business, meet with us at our office, or submit your project drawings to us via email or fax. Once we have your measurements, we will provide you with an estimate, including the estimated number of slabs, within 24-48 hours.

FAQs

Are stone countertops durable?

Stone countertops, such as granite or quartz, are highly durable and resistant to scratches, stains, and heat. They can withstand heavy usage and are less likely to chip or crack compared to other countertop materials.

Which countertop is most resistant to staining?

Quartz countertop’s non-porous surface does not absorb liquids, which makes them highly resistant to staining, though not stain proof.  Quartz countertops are susceptible to stains from coffee, tea, wine, turmeric and food dyes. Fortunately, it is possible to remove stains from quartz countertops with baking soda.

Which stone is best for outdoor use?

Granite is a popular choice for outdoor stone countertops and kitchens because of its durability. It is also moisture resistant when properly sealed and it won’t fade in the sun.  Keep in mind that most natural stone countertops are porous, which makes them susceptible to mold and mildew growth if they are not properly sealed and maintained.

Which stone countertop is easiest to maintain?

Quartz is generally the easiest since unlike most natural stones, quartz does not require periodic sealing. Due to its non-porous nature Quartz countertops exhibit a high stain resistance, and a mild soap and water solution is usually sufficient to keep quartz looking clean and pristine.
